namibian woman outside her hut As a result of its broad network in the field and its experience and understanding of conservation issues, the Sindisa Foundation is an organisation that is able to provide the “man in the field” with an accessible and rapid response option to resolve those unexpected problems frequently encountered by field projects. The Foundation is also unstinting in its efforts to bring awareness of these issues into the public, corporate and political domain.

The Trustees of Sindisa are committed to the principle that the highest possible proportion of funds go to the coalface. However, the investigation of issues and projects and the monitoring of these, as well as the essential management of the Foundation, are supported by contributions from the funds that are raised. Apart from the Executive Officer, the Trustees and volunteers provide all other necessary administrative services.

victoria falls Each project that benefits from Sindisa support is personally vetted and monitored by David Peddie. Therefore, any funds raised are distributed efficiently, used effectively and are accounted for. Any funds nominated for specific projects are guaranteed to be applied as requested.
