David Peddie David Peddie
David has an unique knowledge and experience of wildlife conservation and sustainable development in southern Africa. After growing up in north-west Zimbabwe, where the wildlife of Hwange National Park was a part of everyday life, he took degrees in Agriculture and Wildlife Ecology. He has worked as an Ecologist with Zimbabwe National Parks, as a consultant in wildlife management, protected area planning and rural development and in the safari tourism industry throughout southern Africa.

David James Dr David James (Trustee)
David James gained a degree in Zoology from the Queen's University of Belfast and was awarded a PhD for research into animal biochemistry and physiology. He then qualified as a teacher and spent his professional career in state and independent schools in the UK and South America. Whilst at Stowe School he led many expeditions to South America, Malaysia and Africa bringing his pupils into direct contact with the conservation / community issues of the time. He believes that time invested in allowing young people to experience environmental concerns at first hand will pay dividends in the future.

Jenny Worrall Jenny Worrall (Trustee)
Jenny Worrall is the designer for a successful decorative lighting business based in Warwickshire. Her three sons all worked on different conservation projects with David Peddie in Southern Africa, resulting in a lasting family friendship and her commitment to helping the development of the Sindisa Foundation.

"To advance the education of the public in subjects related to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large."
